High Def Health FAQ’s

I am new to exercise, can I exercise here?

Yes! Whether it is individualized personal training sessions specific to an injury or joining in a group class, we are here to meet you at your level. Our certifications have made us well qualified to modify, intensify and adjust your workout to make sure you are exercising at a safe level.

I have a health issue, can I still exercise with you?

Yes, depending on the specific issue. We are happy to work closely with your health care professional to ensure you are exercising to your potential while being safe. If you have a joint or muscle issue, we would recommend scheduling individual personal training sessions with Eva due to her background in sports medicine. Along with your healthcare provider, Eva can help you progress to a point where you can join our group class or progress to more intense personal training sessions.

Can I take a trial class before I commit to group classes or personal training?

Yes! If you are new to High Def Health, you are always welcome to come to a group class for a free session. If you are interested in personal training, a free consult will be your starting point and functional exercises are included.

What style are your workouts?

Individual personal training workouts are very specific to you and your needs. We start with your goals and include any corrections for improper body mechanics and imbalances. We work to put both these needs and wants together for a total overall workout that gives you results.

Group style workouts are always varied and include a combination of bodyweight exercises and equipment. Trainers encourage with positive feedback and form corrections. We recommend competing with yourself to improve your endurance and strength during each session. Group classes are limited to 10 people max to optimize your time with your trainer.

How does your gym work?

Individual personal training clients schedule and work with one personal trainer. They pay for their sessions through a discount package or individually by session. You do not owe a monthly membership fee. You are free to adjust your schedule as necessary with your specific personal trainer.

Group training sessions in our Corporate Fitness Program are paid for in a monthly membership style. You have access to multiple class times and days throughout the month and can choose your favorite sessions. There are discounted packages if paid for more than one month at a time. Our Saturday Group Class can be a single session purchase or we offer discounted 5 and 10 class packages.

The personal trainers at High Def Health are all certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). NASM is a well respected, consistently top rated, nationally recognized certification. We are required to maintain our certification with continuing education in current health and fitness topics. We also have individual secondary certifications that reflect our specific interests and niches. You can meet our personal trainers here.
